Born to a rich family in Castelia City, refinement and chivalry was all young Corinth knew growing up. Ever since he can remember he's been taken to fancy dinners, balls, and the most beautiful of banquets. His father, Leonard, even taught him how gentlemen were supposed to behave while his mother, Sophia, taught him all about the history of pokemon and of each region... But there was one subject that his mother was careful to never broach... Shifters...
In his family, shifters were the cause of much trouble in the world and according to his parents they were beastly creatures that should never have existed. Despite his family's warnings however, when Corinth was old enough to venture to the public library he began reading about them... To the boy they didn't seem to be all that bad and he found it intriguing how they could change forms at will. He himself wondered what it would be like to have an alternate form to shift to... He never dreamed that he would actually get to experience it...
One night after he began reading about shifters he began having dreams of a persian. Each night they began to grow more and more vivid until one night he woke up as the very pokemon he had been dreaming about. With a cry he tore from his room to his parents, begging them to help him... And they did, by sending him away to Avalon Academy.
At first the young shifter was devastated at the lost of his sophisticated status and of his family. However, he quickly learned that at the academy he was allowed to read any sort of book he wanted, without sneaking. In his history class, he excelled at shifter history as it was what interested him the most. After he was old enough to graduate and leave he decided instead to stay and teach other young shifters about what interested him the most.
