Located on the western end of the first floor, the student lounge is a place where students can study, or just sit and hang out. With several TVs, a couple video game systems, and several tables, chairs, and comfortable couches and armchairs. A couple vending machines are located on one side of the room, so students who don't want to have to make the trek all the way to the dining hall can snag a quick snack if they're feeling peckish

Feeling a little ill after eating lunch? Fell off of your Rapidash while galloping to the class you're late for? Just drop by here and the nurse will see to you! The Infirmary has a small area full of chairs where the nurse cares for very minor things, and on the other side of a large curtain are several cots where people who are feeling more ill can be left in private. In serious cases, a doctor from Sunyshore City can be called out to look at the patient.

A beautiful courtyard spreading out before the front doors of the academy. Large, spreading trees, some berry-bearing, some not, provide shade for countless tables and benches, and many flowers are planted in great patches, with pathways winding through them for admirers. The main attraction, however, is the large fountain decorated with two large marble Empoleon, their heads tilted back, forever shooting twin streams of water into the coin-filled basin below
