Hearthome's huge contest hall holds small contests once a day, with larger contests once a week on Saturday afternoons. Aspiring coordinators will often go to participate in these contests and hopefully make a name for themselves. It isn't uncommon to see two Avalon students, one shifted, one not, participating in the contest together.
