Also known as the Northeastern Tower, the observatory is off-limits to students during the daytime. On clear nights, however, the observatory is open to all students and faculty who want to go out and look at the stars. The large telescope is often pointed at interesting things in the night sky, and the balcony that goes all the way around the tower is a nice place for naked-eye stargazing.
