A tree said to be as old as Sinnoh itself is located on the northern side of the island. Considerably taller than the other trees in the forest, the Elder Tree is home to a myriad of Pokemon. It is said that anyone who sits under the tree will feel all of their stresses melt away.

Though it is forbidden for students to capture these forest-dwelling Pokemon without permission, it is a popular place to study Pokemon, or just take a walk down one of the many paths that carve through the ancient forests.
