Background information on your character goes here. Where did they come from? How did they meet their aura Pokemon? When did they first shift? How did their family and friends react? Do they even know? When did they get to Avalon Academy?
Make sure your moves are moves that your Pokemon can actually learn (be it by level up, TM/HM, egg moves, whatever), so no surfing Charizards or flying Munchlaxes. SEREBII is a good place to see what moves a Pokemon can learn.
Just note that Pokemon should be within reason. They represent a person's true self, so unless a person is actively repressing their true self and putting on one hell of a mask, their Pokemon will pretty much parallel them in terms of personality. Check out the "about shifters" thread for more details.
