Eichi grew up in the quiet town of verdanturf town. From a young age he knew his parents were shifters. They all expected the young boy to have the same powers. He didn't like not being able to shift. Even as a young boy he pouted about it. His parents lived a happy life hiding that they were shifters from everyone. Eichi really didn't understand why but didn't say anything at all.
It was when he turned ten years old things changed. Eichi was older and had never been told why his parents hid their shifter abilities. It was an accident, and the young boy let it slip. The place was furious that creatures were within their town. His parents, didnt' know his crime and Eichi didn't understand the danger that he had put everyone in.
It was later that week that someone would brake into their home. Eichi woke to screaming and noises of braking objects. He rushed out of his room to find his parents being attacked by a male. His father all ready had shifted and was fighting his mother was hurt bleeding on the ground. As a little boy he was frightened and felt himself slip to the ground. He wasn't a shifter and was forced to watch as both his parents being killed.
The man found him after he had killed his parents. Eichi tried to get away but was grabbed. He should of been killed but after the man hurt him enough he realized the boy was not a shifter. The beating leaving scars on his body. The young boy, couldn't move after the encounter. After his parents were killed he couldn't find himself to stay in the place. He wondered for the longest of time.
Hatred started to form in his heart and he was pulled away from others. He began to have dreams. Dreams of being strong. It would be at the age of fourteen he would shift for the first time. He had been in the woods at that time. Not near a city, he screamed in pain and almost wanted the pain to take him from this world finding no other reason to stay.
Once he became a shifter he continued to travel. He found the money in order to survive by fighting. He became quite good at it, in human and pokemon form. Living for the fight and using his appearance to distract people. Eichi originally didn't know of Avalon until he traveled to sinnoh. He came upon the school on accident. Once he found of it though, he had a reason to stay.
He became the champion soon after, continuing to fight and avoiding people. He still uses fighting to forget his past, and is constantly blaming himself for what happened all those years ago. He refused to be social unless he had to.
