Lyra Ambrose never meant to have a child. She was fresh out of college, newly married, and still struggling to hide her shifter identity. James Ambrose didn't want one either. What kind of father wanted to pass down his curse to a new generation? But Lyra and James Ambrose knew no one who could take a potentially dangerous child. So they raised her themselves. But Lilia seemed no more dangerous than her mother was, a young Eevee shifter. She was small and shy with an undeniable stubborn streak matched with a strong will. In short, Lilia was exactly like her mother. Besides the fact that they were a young couple, and besides the fact that they could both shift into Pokemon, Lyra and James seemed like any other happy family. In fact, they were better. Lilia's parents seemed like the perfect match. They were soulmates, destined to be together. They loved the same things, laughed at the same jokes, had the same interests. Then, they split. It was Lyra who filed for the divorce, James who had the affair, and Lilia, age five, was the one most damaged.
Lilia spent most of her life living with her mother, a prestigious Pokemon breeder, and three years with her father, a Noctowl shifter and pokemon researcher. During that time with her mother, Lilia grew especially fond of her mother's pokemon, two Eevees, a Skitty, and a Teddiursa, who followed her wherever she went. It was a strange connection they had, and though Lilia didn't especially mind the Pokemon's devotion, she didn't exactly know why Teddiursa was so fond of her. At age twelve, she finally found out. It was her father who spoke to her. Her father, of all people. Lilia would spoken to by the Pokemon. She was going to feel crazy either way. When she asked if the transformation was painful, it was her mother who replied. "No, sweetie. It's just a little sting, y'know, like taking of a band-aid". Of course, that was a lie. Twelve months later, Lilia had her first shift.
Lilia's parents had tried to keep her safe during the multiple months they suspected she would shift. Her mother had home schooled her. Her father paid for private art classes and tried to teach her sports himself. But none of it was any good. It was a week before her thirteenth birthday party, and Lilia's mother had planned something big. It was a surprise party, and a bit of an apology for the past months she'd been forced inside. Lilia's parents never suspected a thing. They didn't know she'd shift when they surprised her and they weren't prepared, not in the least. It took fourty-five minutes to send everyone home, all the civilians threatening to call the police, all over a tiny Teddiursa. It had taken Lilia's parents the previous year to prepare their daughter for her trip to Avalon Academy. It took thirty-minutes to drive her to the nearest dock, and it took two hours for her to arrive there. Lilia was never the same.

Hiya! My name's kittie and I play lilia ambrose! I've been derping around on planet Earth for a few years (i'm above thirteen i swear ^.^) years, and I've been a member of the awesome group of people called roleplayers for two years! As a member of Hearts and Aura, I promise to make this place awesome and not to give Mariette any headaches, because I could get their banhammer to the face! Most importantly, though, I promise to have fun, because that's what roleplaying is all about, isn't it? ♥
