Born to a romance-novel obsessed Mother, Halott Engedelmes was surrounded by fictional Cassanova's since birth. His Mother would often read her son books about charming men who swept young beauties off their feet; about handsome Princes who rescued their loves with a careless smile and a wink. Halott's Father abandoned Mrs. Engedelmes before the boy was born, leaving Halott with only exceptionally charming male influences. From a young age he realized that by being attractive and seductive, a person could manipulate another with very little effort, and adopted this as his very own words to live by.
At age twelve, Halott met his aura pokemon; a small, devilish Purrloin who often watched Halott from windows. Understanding that hallucinations like his would land him in a mental hospital, he kept his visions of a Purrloin a secret from his Mother, choosing to continue with his life as if nothing was happening. Over the next two years, the voice of the Purrloin grew stronger, and it's shape became far more defined; almost as if it was trying to force Halott to accept it as a part of himself. Nevertheless, Halott continued to try and ignore everything, albeit becoming increasingly more distracted from reality. Thankfully, his Mother didn't notice the change, still far too caught up in her fantasies of the perfect man.
The first shift came at age fourteen. In the middle of watching the mysterious Purrloin while his Mother was out buying groceries, Halott begun to suffer excruciating pain through-out his body. Afraid and unsure what was happening, he found himself unable to move as his bones cracked and spine reshaped. His shift was surprisingly quick, and after several minutes, Halott had shrunk down and changed into a Purrloin identical to the one that had been following him. Unsure of what to do, Halott ran, leaving behind nothing but his clothes for his Mother to find when she returned.
It only took a day for the change to wear off, leaving Halott back in his human body, naked and alone in the outskirts of Nimbasa. Luckily, he was found by a member of Avalon Academy that evening and quickly taken back to the school. Still unsure of what to do in his new home, Halott found himself swarmed by girls, all of which adored his appearance and longed to touch his hair. Realizing that, just as he had learnt as a child, he was adored because of his looks, Halott begun manipulating members of the student body; stealing their hearts and thoughts.
By age seventeen, Halott had begun wearing glasses, noticing that boys who wore glasses were always far more popular than those who didn't. He also begun dressing differently; in a far more refined sense. Apparently ladies love a man who can work a suit like he can. However, the biggest change was Halott discovering his longing to be shackled down to one person. After dating one girl who could easily be described as a dominatrix demanded his full attention, Halott realized that he could only ever be romantically attracted to someone willing to hold onto him with all their might.
